We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at House On The Bend. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, even offering us a refreshing coconut drink upon arrival. The Sri Lankan breakfast they served was absolutely delicious and we loved the fact that we could choose what we wanted. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach but far enough away from the noise of the parties. The bathroom design was well-thought-out, with an open window and a mosquito net to keep the bugs out. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The value for money was exceptional and we would definitely recommend this place to others. we had a great experience at House On The Bend.
One small drawback was the lack of a hair dryer in the room, but we didn't ask for one so maybe they would have provided it if we had. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a small towel for the bathroom floor as a makeshift carpet, but it didn't bother us enough to ask for one.

The breakfasts were delicious, with a range of options to choose from. I even had the chance to see a monkey outside my window! The property was secure and clean, offering a peaceful and safe environment. Despite a few minor inconveniences like the occasional cold shower and the limited wifi codes, I cannot fault this place. I highly recommend House On The Bend for an unforgettable stay.

The rocky coast in the Kudawella fishing village, just six miles from the hotel, is a natural phenomenon that will leave you in awe. Watching the waves crash against the rugged rocks is a mesmerizing sight that shouldn't be missed.
For dads, it would be great if there was a small playground or outdoor area for children to play.

The rooms were bright and spacious, with a glass front and a balcony. the bathroom was nice and the bed was comfy. the hotel had a shared kitchen and a veranda, perfect for relaxing. the staff were friendly and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere. It was conveniently located, just around 5 minutes away from the beach.
The coffee machine was not being used, so getting a regular Sri Lankan coffee instead was a disappointment. the room itself was quite basic.
